Cranford Community College English lessons are 'outstanding'
Pupils and teachers at Cranford Community College are celebrating after it was rated 'outstanding' for English.
The secondary school, in Cranford High Street, achieved top marks across the board for the subject in its latest Ofsted report, published this month.
Inspectors, who visited in December, were impressed by initiatives including the English Excellence Evening, mentoring by sixth formers and the First Story creative writing project led by author William Fiennes.
